We welcome schools to bring out their students (and staff) for a fun field trip day learning STEM in the outdoors. We also host Girl Scout programs focused on STEM, life skills, entrepreneurship and the outdoors that aligns with badgework.
Our facilities are also open for all camp rentals for outside groups for camping trips, teambuilding days and more!
You don’t have to be a Girl Scout to attend a Girl Scouts of Central Indiana program at the STEM Experience Center. Whether they are curious or enthusiastic about a particular STEM topic, we welcome them to sign up to attend any of our programs for an additional fee if they are not current Girl Scout members.
We encourage you to come with an open mind and the freedom to ask questions about the topics that we feature. Part of the fun is to be curious and explore STEM! Since we are located outdoors, we highly recommend that you come prepared and dressed for the weather.
This includes walking shoes, jacket, sunglasses and/or a hat, as well as a water bottle.
Our staff monitor weather conditions periodically in preparation for each of our programs. We will make any accommodations in the event of activities affected by weather and will reach out in the event of cancellations.
